In 1776, our forefathers proclaimed their independence from King George III, and after bloody battles and conflicts, our democratic nation was born. George Washington, the first to preside over our newly formed government became a national icon to be honored annually on the third Monday in February, President’s Day. Since then, we have used this holiday to show gratitude to the hard work and diligence necessary to keep America strong. As the United States of America, we can appreciate the progress made from declaring our independence as thirteen colonies to now being viewed as a world leader. We here at E-Z Window Cleaning want to take a moment to thank our leaders and to be grateful for the freedoms we Americans exercise daily.
