June is #NationalSafetyMonth. At E-Z Window Cleaning, we continue to take our safety procedures seriously. We are continuing to review and improve our industry safety standards, keeping our employees and customers in mind. Our goal is for all of our employees to attend online safety training through the IWCA. The online training teaches our employees how to avoid fall hazards by applying OSHA regulations. We know that workplace safety training is as important as workplace safety itself. Thorough training allows management to ensure a safe and healthy environment, helping employees recognize safety hazards and correcting them. When we understand the best safety practices and expectations, we minimize accidents due to carelessness and neglect. We provide excellent customer service, never forgetting to not only make windows and their surroundings shine but also to enforce some of the following safety best practices to our employees:
- Be aware of their surroundings. We encourage our employees to know particular hazards, reducing the risks, allowing them to take the precautionary steps.
- Reduce workplace stress. Schedule their work accordingly and manage the tasks to reduce our staff’s workplace stress.
- Use tools appropriately. We highly discourage taking shortcuts. Instead, we train our employees to take appropriate precautions while using machinery or any tool. Taking shortcuts is one of the biggest reasons behind workplace loss.
- Communication. We encourage our employees to update their supervisors about unsafe conditions. It’s critical we keep the lines of communication open, updating each other on the hazards and risks that may be occurring at the workplace.
At E-Z Window Cleaning, we know if we eliminate workplace hazards, we can completely offer our customers the best type of service. Come join our team, contact us, or give us a call. We know the importance of protecting both our employees and our future clients. Your safety and our employees’ safety is our number one priority and if we keep our focus on that, our glass will shine clearly.
