At E-Z Window Cleaning, we never stop taking our safety procedures seriously. This year our team did not attend in-person training at the International Window Cleaning Association’s Convention (IWCA). That said, we are continuing to review and improve our industry safety standards, keeping our employees and customers in mind.
Our goal is for all of our employees to attend online safety training through the IWCA. The online training teaches our employees how to avoid fall hazards by applying OSHA regulations.
Today, workplace safety training is as important as workplace safety itself. Whether online or in-person, our training keeps our management proactive, ensuring a safe and healthy environment and helping employees recognize safety hazards.
We continue to encourage the following safety best practices to our employees:
- Know their surroundings. We teach our employees to understand particular hazards, reducing the risks, and allowing them to take precautionary steps.
- Know and use tools. There are no shortcuts at EZ Window Cleaning. Instead, we encourage our employees to take appropriate precautions while operating machinery or any devices.
- Keep Updating. Our employees are encouraged to update their supervisors about unsafe conditions, keeping our lines of communication open. Employees and management update each other on the hazards and risks that may be occurring at the workplace.
At E-Z Window Cleaning, our goal is to continue being proactive when it comes to safety. Join our team, contact us, or give us a call. We know the importance of protecting both our employees and customers. Our windows are never shinier than when everybody is safe.
